My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Evie – your spunky, snuggly sidekick! She is a three-year-old, 16 pound, Rat Terrier mix who is equal parts sass and sweetness. Evie is a proud, energetic little dynamo who isn’t afraid to let you know what’s on her mind – she’s quite the conversationalist! Her feisty and brave personality makes her the perfect adventure buddy, whether it’s strutting down the street on a leash or chasing after her favorite toys and balls.

But don’t let her boldness fool you – Evie has a soft side too. She absolutely loves to snuggle up on your lap, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. And if you give her a good booty scratch, you’ll have her heart forever! Evie’s favorites include her cozy donut bed, where she likes to curl up after a day of play, and bonding closely with her people. She’s fiercely loyal and will quickly become your little shadow, following you around with curious eyes and a wagging tail.

Evie’s Perfect Home:
• An active family who can keep up with her energetic spirit.
• A home where she can be the center of attention and snuggle as much as her heart desires.
• Someone who appreciates a vocal, playful pup who isn’t shy to express herself.

If you’re ready to add some spunk and snuggles to your life, Evie is the dog for you! Get your application in today and have Evie complete your family.

More about this rescue

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
