My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Skipper, the strikingly handsome feline with a gentle soul and a heart full of love waiting to be discovered. At first, Skipper may be a little shy—he's the type of cat who takes his time to get comfortable in new surroundings. But don't let his initial quietness fool you; underneath that reserved exterior is a sweet, affectionate cat who craves love and attention.

Skipper may need a little patience to truly open up, but once he starts to trust, his affectionate side shines brightly. He’s the type of cat who appreciates a calm, loving environment where he can feel safe and secure. Skipper thrives in a home where his family understands that, while he may be a bit hesitant at first, the bond he forms will be all the more rewarding when he feels comfortable enough to share his affection.

With time, Skipper will show you his playful, curious side. He’ll lean in for head scratches, purr softly when you’re near, and start to show his true, loving nature. He’s just waiting for the right person or family who can offer him the gentle patience he needs to flourish into the loving companion he’s destined to be. Skipper is a diamond in the rough—a beautiful soul looking for a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and truly himself.

Stop in and meet my cute self in person during our adoption hours. For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you.

I hope to meet you soon!

Our cats and kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
