My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chica!
Age: 8 years | Breed: Domestic Shorthair | Weight: 8 lbs
Adoption Fee: $75 | Spayed: Yes

Chica is a sweet, playful girl with a love for wand toys — so much so that she can get a little possessive of them (in the cutest way possible). She enjoys short bursts of play with her feline companions, though she’s mostly content doing her own thing. Her laid-back nature makes her an easygoing roommate, but don’t be surprised if she starts following you around — especially if there's a chance of food!

She’s great with other cats, has been respectful and mostly indifferent toward the resident senior dog, and is super friendly with people. Chica would thrive in a calm home where she can get daily interactive play and plenty of attention from her humans.

She is fully litter-trained and in good health. In 2024, Chica was treated for cystitis and has been doing great ever since, but she’ll need to stay on a urinary-specific diet to keep her feeling her best.

If you're looking for a relaxed yet playful companion with a lovable personality, Chica is ready to charm her way into your heart (and your kitchen).

Apply today to meet this sweet girl and see if Chica is the purr-fect match for your home!

As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.).

Your new cat will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine.

Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation.

Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days.

Thank you again for your interest in a Grey Face senior. We appreciate your support!
