Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Harry – The Beagle Who's Too Chill to Be True!
If you’re looking for a low-maintenance best friend who enjoys the simple things in life (like food, naps, and leisurely strolls), Harry is your guy!
🐶 Beagle Alert (But Without the Noise!?) – Harry is five years old and, against all Beagle stereotypes, has yet to bark or howl. Either he’s secretly trying to break the mold, or he’s just too relaxed to bother. The only sound he makes? A little whine here and there—probably just to remind you it’s snack o’clock.
🐾 Mellow & Mannerly – So far, Harry is as sweet and laid-back as they come. His foster mom thinks he’d be great with kids, cats, and other dogs—because frankly, he’s too chill to cause drama. Need proof? He recently took a car ride with a very cranky, hissing cat and did not care one bit. Didn’t flinch, didn’t engage—just sat there like the unbothered king he is.
🍖 Professional Eater & Napper – Harry takes his meals seriously and believes in the importance of digestive naps. Walks? Absolutely. Adventures? Maybe, but only if followed by another nap.
If you want a sweet, easygoing, food-loving sidekick who will keep you company without demanding too much, Harry is ready to move in and steal your couch (and maybe your snacks).

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
