Amelia is likely one of the most beautiful bully you will ever see. She is a staff favorite. Her affection for people is deep. An excellent watch dog, Amelia only barks when she hears strangers on the property. She is friendly with dogs, but she will only go to an adult household where she is the only diva.

More about this rescue

New Horizon Dog Rescue pulls animals from high-kill shelters, those that are scheduled for euthanization, those that otherwise had no chance. The animals are immediately veterinarian examined. The animals are further tested for heartworm, administered the necessary vaccines and are spayed/neutered when applicable.

We are volunteers who devote to the ultimate goal: placing the animals in responsible, loving homes, where they have always been meant to be.
