Jill is shy and a little nervous when meeting new people. At adoption events, when things feel overwhelming, she’ll simply curl up and go to sleep — her quiet way of coping with the big world around her. Because of this tender, cautious nature, she’s now over a year old and still waiting for someone to see the beautiful soul she truly is.
But give Jill just a little time, patience, and kindness, and you’ll discover her real personality. 🌟 She blossoms into a happy, playful girl who loves zoomies in the yard, a good game of fetch, and romping around with other dogs. Adoption application required for dogs. However, because it stresses cats to be confined and transported with dogs long distances, we do not transport our cats. They are local to Texas only. Thank you.
Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
