If you are an experienced cat person and really want to make a big difference in a cats world, please consider this girl.
She was trapped and now healthy and thoroughly vetted. Hissy wants to understand what's happening but has no clue. Her running mates are now both adopted, but she is still a little scared and needs a very slow, gentle approach in small steps. We really didn't want to have release her without her friends and she is starting to become more confident.
She's comfortable and eating well, starting to explore the room she has made home. Her comfort spots are on a shelf or soft cat bed. She is not ready to be handled and still needs to decompress.
Hissy because she will tell you she's uncomfortable but is a very neat girl using her litter pan and allows you in to straighten up and softly pet her on her back.
She's an older gal of about 8 and deserves a life of comfort and patience to blossom. For this reason a foster or adopter must live within half hour of Keansburg so we can assist if needed.

We do everything possible to educate the public about the importance of neuter/spay, TNR to keep colonies under control, and find great homes for the adoptable pets in need. We work with our adopters after adoption to make sure both family members, human and furry, are happy and adjusted.
