Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*** To alleviate the need to bring an animal into the shelter environment, The Anti-Cruelty Society has the Home-to-Home Shelter Bypass service to help people find new accommodations for their pets privately. These animals are not located in any of the Society`s physical locations. If you are interested in adopting this animal, please do NOT click the Adopt Me button and instead reach out to the current owner directly via the email provided in the profile. As this is a Home-to-Home animal you are not required to fill out an Anti-Cruelty Society adoption application form. ***
Cheese is a lively, low maintenance cat that wants to be your housemate and companion. She is great with other cats, in fact, she would THRIVE with a resident cat to help her keep learning the ways of an inside housecat. Cheese has not yet met any children, but given her jumpy propensity, I don’t imagine she would do well in a home with children under the age of 15. Cheese has no known past or existing health issues. She was tested for FIV/FeLV and is negative. She is a former TNR colony cat (rockin a tipped ear!) that was young enough to transition to an inside house life. After just 7 weeks inside, she is a lovely housecat who plays intently with her spring and wand toys and enjoys sitting in the same room as her humans. She does not take medications nor need a special diet. She is eating Fancy Feast wet food and Iams dry food. Cheese uses her litter box with no issue. Cheese would do best in a house with humans who are ok with a cat that prefers to sit on the opposite side of the couch, sleep by your feet, and is still warming up to the idea of humans touching her. She is a voracious, food-motivated eater who will be your best friend so long as you are providing her wet food meals to her. She even loves a good game of chase for her treats. This talkative little girl is ready for a lifelong family who is okay with giving her space to grow into a comfy and safe fully inside cat. Cheese is bonded to her sister, Violet.
