Fran Redfield is such a lovely cat! She is friendly, social, sweet, quiet, affectionate, and so beautiful! She's a cat who loves to be around her people but is also independent enough to spend time on her own napping and snacking.
Recently, an ultrasound revealed a mass in this sweet girl’s body. We’re unsure if it’s cancer or FIP at this time, but we will be doing further testing once we come up with the funds. At just 3 years old, this news has been heartbreaking and unexpected.
The silver lining is that Fran is not currently showing any symptoms — she remains her sweet, gentle self. We are searching for a special person or family to open their heart and home to her. Though her future is unknown at this time, we remain hopeful that she has many good years ahead! She is an incredibly affectionate girl who gets along well with other cats, and she deserves to spend her days surrounded by love and comfort. Fran has already endured so much in her young life, and we are determined to give her the peace and happiness she deserves. If you think you or someone you know could be the safe haven Fran needs while we determine next steps, please reach out to us at fosters@projectmeow.org. Or if you want to be Fran's forever family and adopt her, please submit an adoption application.
Fran is currently living with other cats - she is gentle and respectful and can live with other cats who are the same.
Fran Redfield is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. She is currently on allergy medicine, which she takes easily, and she is eating special food to help with her allergies, too.
Adoption fee: $100 - plus tax

Adopt 2 cats and save $25 off the total adoption fee
* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
