Looking for a gorgeous new pal? Then Phin might be the guinea pig for you. Can`t decide what color guinea pig you want? No problem, Phin has most of the traditional guinea pig colors all wrapped up in one. He is a little shy, but is showing more adventurous behaviors each day. One of Phin`s favorite activities is rearranging his home. He likes to set up his room so he has his own personal race track. Essentially he pushes everything to the center of the cage so he can zoom around the outer edges. And boy can he run! Phin will wheek for treats and will gently take the treat from you hand. He has also learned from Ferb (his neighbor) that standing on your back legs can earn you more treats! Phin enjoys bell peppers, cucumbers, and carrots. Phin enjoys eating his morning pellets near his neighbor Ferb, but doesn`t enjoy him as a roommate. Phin would do best with another piggie friend/neighbor to help overcome his shyness. Do you have the time, space and patience to help Phin become the best piggie he can be? Consider adopting Phin and maybe Ferb too!

The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC), proudly operated by the Montgomery County Office of Animal Services, provides high-standard sheltering and care to the homeless, abused, and neglected animals in Montgomery County and ensures the safety and welfare of the county’s citizens.
The Center’s doors are open to all animals in need from: dogs and cats to farm animals, wildlife, and exotics. Trained staff provide animals with daily care, mental and physical enrichment, health and wellness checks, and more. Through adoptions, spay and neuter assistance, vaccination clinics, education and outreach, the Center serves as a critical community resource to promote and advocate for responsible pet care.
