My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ellie Mae, a nearly 2-year-old cutie with velvety-soft fur and a heart full of love. Weighing in at 32 pounds, she’s the perfect size for snuggles—and lucky for you, that’s her favorite pastime!

This gentle, affectionate girl adores curling up close to her person and offering quiet, loyal companionship.

Ellie Mae has enjoyed playing with respectful dogs here at HCAS and could happily share her home with another calm canine friend. True to her tender nature, she’s a little shy and can be easily overwhelmed by a lot of activity or noise. Because of that, Ellie Mae would do best in a quieter home—one without young children—where she can blossom at her own pace and feel safe and loved.

If you’re looking for an endearing, gentle soul who will reward your patience with endless devotion, Ellie Mae might just be your perfect match
