Mufasa is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home!

Mufasa is a playful and sweet young pup who loves walks, car rides, and his favorite, a good game of fetch! He prefers the company of women (currently, but we are working with him to get him more comfortable with men) and thrives in a calm, stable home. Surrendered to a local animal control, Mufasa is ready for a patient, loving adopter to give him the life he deserves. Mufasa has recently started training sessions to help build up his confidence and he is flourishing! With time and consistency, we know that he will continue to blossom.

Mufasa would thrive in a home with a larger, confident, female dog or as a solo pet who can soak up all your love and attention. Give this sweet boy a chance and he will quickly capture your heart!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Submitting an adoption application is free and is the best way to show that you are interested in a specific pet!

2.
Interview

An adoption coordinator will contact you by email within 72 hours to set up an interview and go over your application

3.
Home Check

Virtual Home Check

4.
Approve Application

Once your application is approved, you will receive a pre-approval letter which is valid for 6 months as you search for the perfect pet!

5.
Meet the Pet

We provide meet and greets for pre-approved applicants and their families.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Additional adoption info

An application with vet/landlord reference check and virtual home visit is required.

The adoption donation amount of $550 is refundable if the dog you choose is not the right fit for your family within the first seven (7) days. Every dog is vetted, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped with lifetime registration.
