You may remember Tawn as the loveable older cat that looks like a racoon. His current owner is moving to the United Kingdom. After extensive research, we have concluded that Tawn may not fair well in the cargo hold for multiple domestic flights and a 10+ hour international flight. So, we are searching for a retirement home for Tawn. Ideally, we’d like to adopt him from his home by the end of March 2025 to avoid another stay at the shelter.
“Tawn won me over with his cute face and his calm demeanor, but I was unprepared for just how sweet and loving he is! He fills my life with joy, cuddles, and lots of love. He really is the perfect blend of laid-back and playful. He adores curling up with you for snuggles, making him the best lap cat. When he’s not contentedly resting with me, he loves to go on car rides and loves to chase me around the house looking like the cutest little raccoon. Tawn also has a feisty side to him, if there is anything he doesn’t like or that makes him uncomfortable he will let you know by giving you a little nip. His favorite thing in the world? Treats! He’s a little treat connoisseur, and there’s nothing more exciting for him than the promise of a yummy snack. Although he does need medication twice a day, he takes his medication like a champ.
