Max is the kind of dog that LOVES to make you smile! This goofy boy loves to be the center of attention and wouldn't mind it if you were stuck on the couch all day with him. This big love bug prefers to be only one capturing your eye so he is looking for a home with no other animals/kids so he can be spoiled the way he deserves! If you want a big man with lots of love (and cuddles) to share, put in an application to meet Max!

Cats over 4 months -- $75 for one, $100 for two
Puppies under 4 months -- $300
Dogs over 4 months-- $100, $150 for two
Rabbits -- $50 for one, $80 for two
Guinea Pigs -- $15 for one, $25 for two
Rats, Mice, and Hamsters - $8.00 for one, $2 for any additional

The main caregiver and an adult in the family are required to be present and meet the animal to adopt. An application and signed contract is required, and homeownership or verification from a landlord that the pet is allowed is required. Dog adoptions require an introduction to all members of the family as well as any existing dogs.

Furry Friends seeks to assist all animals in need through a variety of programs. We are a group of passionate people who have created the first no- kill community in Iowa and hope to spread the no-kill mission through the rest of Iowa.
