King of Hearts is the dog who’s sure to rule over your heart! When King first arrived at our shelter, he was a little shy, unsure of his new surroundings. But it didn’t take long for him to realize just how loved he is, and now he’s a total social butterfly! King enjoys spending time with the staff and volunteers, whether it’s hanging out in his room, going on walks, or playing in the yard.

King is a loyal and affectionate companion who’s ready to share all his love with his forever family. However, as the King, he does ask to be the only pet in the home—after all, a king deserves to have his throne all to himself!

Additional adoption info

All family members are required to be present in order to adopt an animal. You must be 21 years old or older to adopt. Applications must be completed and approved prior to adopting an animal. If approved, an applicant must sign a contract to adopt an animal which outlines the responsibilities of the shelter and the adopter.
