Hello, I’m Maximus — a 9-year-old pit bull mix with a big heart. I’ve had a bit of a rough year as an Eaton Fire survivor and lost my home, but I’m ready for a fresh start with someone who gets me.
I’m an 80-pound gentle giant — calm and sweet. I’m potty trained, never jump, and I’m super respectful when humans are eating. I`m great with all people including kids, and just want to be petted and loved. At first, I might be a little nervous, but give me some time and I’ll melt right into your lap for cuddles.
I sleep through the night in my dog bed, and I’m a good boy when left home alone — no chewing or messes. I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog because I get a bit reactive around other pups. I’m a strong boy and sometimes pull on the leash while walking, so I need a confident adopter who can handle me.
