Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**COME MEET ME at our next ADOPTION EVENT at TRACTOR SUPPLY~Columbia Station Location on SATURDAY, MARCH 8 FROM 11 - 2. On site adoption is possible with a pre-approved application on file!**
Meet Cosmo - a brave and resilient boy who’s come a long way since his emergency rescue from Lorain County. Cosmo is an 8lb, 1-year-old Terrier mix. His journey to MBR started when he was sadly abandoned in a Giant Eagle parking lot. Despite his difficult past, he’s proving to be a sweet and loving pup with a lot of potential.
It took Cosmo a long time to feel safe and settled in his foster home. In the beginning, he would constantly shake and needed to be carried everywhere, as he struggled to trust and feel secure. Now, Cosmo is a completely different dog. He’s starting to play with the other dogs in the home and enjoys being a part of the pack, which is a big milestone for him. Potential families should know that Cosmo may take time to build trust and feel comfortable in a new environment. He’s a sensitive soul and will need patience and understanding to truly blossom. However, with time and some kindness, he’s proven that he has so much love to give. Cosmo has made incredible strides and will continue to thrive with the right family that can support him as he learns to trust and feel safe.
Cosmo can be a picky eater, but he’s slowly improving and getting better with his meals. He is also still working on feeling fully comfortable being in his crate. Although he keeps it clean; he tends to cry while in it at night. Cosmo would much rather be with his people than in his crate.
He may be a little slow to warm up, but once he does, Cosmo is the kind of dog who will follow you everywhere and lay by your side, being a constant companion to people who understand him. If you’re willing to give him the time and patience he needs, Cosmo will reward you with a bond that’s worth every moment.
All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
