At about a year old and 34 lbs, Angeles may be a Doberman mix, but she’s on the smaller side—which just means she’s the perfect size for lap snuggles (and yes, she fully believes she’s a lap dog). Originally from California, this girl is learning what it means to be a true Texas pup—from perfecting her leash manners to discovering the joy of a good game of tug-of-war. She’s already 100% house-trained and crate-trained, sleeping quietly through the night. While she may voice her opinion about being crated when you leave, she settles down once you’re gone.
Angeles has a playful, fun-loving side, especially in the mornings when she’s ready to zoom around and burn off some energy! She’s learned to bring the ball back (most of the time), and she loves playing with dog friends her size after a proper introduction. Cats? No, thank you. She can be nervous with small children and fast movements, so she’d do best in a home without small children. But once she warms up, she’s the sweetest, most loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. If you’re looking for a smart, cuddly, and playful pup to join your family, Angeles is ready to find her forever home!
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
