My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🏡 Foster Family Needed for Willie 🐾

Displaced by wildfires. Still searching for stability.

Willie’s story is one of resilience. He lost his home during the recent fires and has been in the care of Animal Wellness Foundation since January. Though he’s had a few joyful "fostercations"—short weekend stays with a loving family—he still dreams of a more stable, long-term foster (or forever!) home.

💙 Meet Willie

Willie is a big-hearted love bug who wins over everyone he meets. He’s goofy, affectionate, and loyal to the core. His ideal home would have no other dogs, but honestly—with Willie around, you’ll have all the love and companionship you could ever need.

🐾 Willie’s Ideal Foster Home:

🧍 Adult-only or with older kids (due to his size and playful energy)

🚫 Only dog in the home

🏃‍♂️ Enjoys a mix of activity and down time (he loves to run and chill)

📚 Able to offer consistency, patience, and love

🍖 Committed to a healthy diet and ongoing training

💡 Fun Facts About Willie:

Crate trained

Knows sit, stay, shake

Shows off his tricks with pride

Gives big love and even bigger cuddles

Willie is not just looking for a roof over his head—he’s hoping for a place to heal, thrive, and bond with someone special. If you can open your heart and home—even temporarily—you’ll be giving this deserving boy the chance he’s been waiting for.
