Chinchillas make amazing companions and these two guys are already bonded so they are looking for a forever home where they can be together. These fuzzy critters are adorable but also require lots of special care so please do your research before considering adding a chin or two to your home. First of all they can live up to 20 yrs and these boys are just between 1-2 yrs old now. They require a cooler climate all year long, need a very large enclosure with tons of things to do and lots of wood to chew on (never any plastic shelving or toys). Dust baths are a must 2-3 times a week so be ready for everything in your house to be covered no matter how much you clean plus the hay finds in way into every crevice of every room. A good size cage would be a threee story ferret nation so make sure you have lots of room for this structure in your living room ... lol. They love to run on wheels so make sure you look into an extra large (16") metal wheel - they run all night so investing in a good quality quiet one will save you lots of sleepless nights. Chins aren't very cuddly but more independent like a bunny or a cat - they love you when they want a treat and then they are off to their next adventure. Still interested?
