Meet the Pet
This helps Southwest Florida House Rabbit Rescue with pet care costs.
Winter and Twinkle are brave, curious, and gentle 1-year-old New Zealand sisters born in our care after their mom was rescued as a stray. Fun, playful, and full of personality, they adore human attention, enjoy free-roaming, and happily snuggle up to be held for long periods. Tidy, adaptable, and lovers of a predictable routine filled with daytime “bunstruction” and nighttime zoomies, they balance each other beautifully and would make wonderful family buns in a home with plenty of space to play and explore.
Red-Eyed White (REW) rabbits are among the smartest breeds, known for their quick learning, ability to recognize their name, and even follow commands or learn tricks. In addition to their intelligence, REWs tend to have fewer health issues than many fancy breeds, avoiding common ear and dental problems. As a bonus, they’re also known for their cleanliness and strong litter box habits—making them fantastic companions!
