Sami was hanging out at the post office when her foster mom went to check her po box. She came home with more than just her mail. Sami immediately spotted her as a sucker, ran over and started wrapping herself around her legs. When she came out of the post office, Sami was sitting on her car waiting for her. So now, Paw Printz, a Pitbull rescue, has a cat in need of a home.
Sami is great with dogs. Well, as great as a cat can be with a house full of crazy barking Pitbulls. She just looks at them like their crazy and then continues to insist on pets from her human or snuggles up to them. We're still working on making the dogs cat friendly.
Sami, however, is super friendly with people and very playful. She lets you know when she wants pets by coming over and sticking her head under your hand. Tummy rubs are a favorite as well. When she's had her fill of pets, she will walk away. Still very young, she loves to chase her little feather toy thing. She also loves to sit in her window and watch what is going on outside.
She does great on a leash. When ready to come in, she sit down, wraps her tail around her feet and looks at you like, ' Ok. You can take me inside now.' So, definitely an inside cat.
Sami is current on vaccinations, crate trained (yes, that's right, crate trained), spayed, microchipped and was given a clean bill of health in Feb, 2, 2025. At that time, the vet said she was about 5 or 6 months old so we gave her a birthdate (see above).
*Age is always a guess with rescue dogs but here at Paw Printz we believe everyone should have a birth date, so when our vet guesses at their age, we work out what would be a good birthday for each dog and make it so!
