My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Peggy Sue
Peggy Sue is about 6-7 months old, weighs 22 pounds and is a super happy, playful pup! She is very sweet, friendly and as you can see in the video, enjoys exploring and playing. She has 3 legs but it does not stop her one bit. She can run and jump and have a great time in the yard. She favors lying down over sitting.

She is a silky coated black beauty.

We can see Peggy Sue doing well in a home where she can get lots of attention and playtime with her family. She is curious and also enjoys being held. She has a fun personality and she is very smart. She enjoys playing with toys and other dogs here at the rescue. She is just a fun-loving pup who can’t wait to find a home of her own!

She would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment.

Peggy Sue is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped and her adoption fee is $375. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application.

*The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance.*

Peggy Sue tested positive for Chagas disease and has started treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas
