When wildfires tore through California, some kind-hearted humans rescued me. I was safe, but stuck, with nowhere to go. That’s when the amazing Golden Retriever people—said, “We’ve got you, girl.” And they meant it. They gave me a fresh start, because every good dog deserves a chance.
Now I’m soaking up the good life in Minnesota and waiting for my perfect match. I’m about 3 years old, 70 pounds, and full of fun, love, and personality. I adore playing with other dogs, especially those who love to wrestle and romp. I play hard, so a confident, energetic dog with a similar play style would be ideal. But if you’re looking for a one-dog household, I’m happy to be your solo shadow. I’d thrive with an active family who understands working breeds, appreciates my intelligence, and will let me snuggle close when the day winds down.
I’m such a social girl that I even get to go to doggy daycare, where I have a blast playing with my frens! My days are full—awesome training sessions, daycare fun, and plenty of outdoor playtime. I seem to have a strong prey drive, so I’m probably not the best fit for a home with cats. When meeting new adults and kids, I get a little excited—I might jump or show playful mouthiness—but it’s always short-lived and just my way of saying, “Yay! New friends!” It’s something we’re actively working on through training.
I’ve been through the fire, but I haven’t lost my spark. I’m loyal, goofy, affectionate, and ready to be your devoted sidekick. So what do you say? Ready to fall for a girl with Soul?
