Meet Meeko 🐾 — Our Long-Timer with a Heart of Gold
Meeko’s story began on March 5, 2024, when a kind young man found him near a sharp curve on Bobbitt Road and knew this sweet pup deserved a second chance. At his first vet visit, Meeko was estimated to be about six months old—and he’s been spreading joy and puppy energy ever since!
Meeko is a very good boy who loves his dog toys and still enjoys a good puppy chew. He sleeps through the night in his crate with no accidents and does great with a routine. During the day, he enjoys time outside in a fenced yard, then happily comes inside in the evenings to cuddle and soak up affection.
This friendly, loving pup adores being petted and shows his gratitude with plenty of kisses. He knows how to sit (even if his wiggly puppy butt sometimes takes over when he’s excited 😄), rides great in the car, and uses a slow-feeder bowl to help him pace himself at mealtime.
Meeko is looking for a forever family who will give him the love, playtime, and continued guidance he needs as he grows into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. After waiting far too long, this sweet boy is more than ready for his happily ever after.
