Thelma is a bright spark of joy wrapped up in a 36-pound, mixed-breed body. At just 1 year old, she’s the spicier sister of the duo, and her enthusiasm shines the moment she brings you her favorite toy to show off. She’s always ready to share her excitement—especially when guests arrive (she’s convinced a warm welcome requires a few happy announcements!). With a big heart and a playful spirit, Thelma loves being around people and is happiest when she's sharing her day with you, whether that's lounging close by or heading out on a walk with her best friend, Louise.
Thelma and Louise sleep together, eat together, and love walking side by side, whether they’re strolling through the neighborhood or just hanging out around the house. They seem to be wonderfully house-savvy (no destruction here!), though a little gentle coaching with basic commands would help them settle in even more. At the Rescue Ranch, they love breaking up computer work by popping in for pets or to proudly show off a toy, before snuggling down into a cozy bed nearby. They're under 40 pounds each, travel easily, and bring double the love, double the smiles, and double the sweetness wherever they go. Our Adoption Center is open seven days a week from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Founded in 1990, Nuzzles and Co (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) was just a small group of animal lovers lobbying for a new shelter facility. Today, we are a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation organization with an adoption center, dedicated staff and board of trustees, and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that includes a full veterinary suite, indoor and outdoor training spaces, miles of hiking trails, and a community cat room with an attached "catio."
