My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Scooby: A Little Bit of Everything, and a Whole Lot of Love Scooby-Doo, what are you?!?! Thats the question for this affectionate fun-sized, fun dog! Scooby has a lot of GSD in him, yes, but he has a few other breeds mixed in for even more fun. Its anyones guess about his pedigree, but its clear to everybody that Scooby loves to run, chase, hang out with canine pals, and attend to goings-on at his home. And when hes tired or sees someone settling down on a couch, hes right there for cuddles, hugs, and love. Scooby will take his time getting to know human friends, and because he probably was late to learn all proper dog behavior, he will need a parent who will continue his training. Did we mention that hes smart? He wants to bond with his humans, and all he needs for that is gentleness, time, and respect. Then hell give you those beautiful, soulful eyes and youre off to a great relationship. Please visit our website www.gsdrescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Before you fill out the application:
1). We do not adopt to individuals living outside of North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia.

More about this rescue

Thank you for considering adopting a GSRA dog. We love that you are exploring rescuing a GSD. We firmly believe that the adoption of a dog is not one to be taken lightly. Because of this belief, our adoption process is what some would described as lengthy and can be emotional. If you are looking to take a dog home "tomorrow", unfortunately our organization is not for you.
