Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bellatrix is a sweet, shy, and playful girl with a soft heart and a gentle soul. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she feels safe, her affectionate and fun-loving side shines through. Bellatrix enjoys the company of other cats and is often found cozied up, nestling or napping with her favorite feline friends—especially a few of the boys at the shelter. She would do well in a home with another friendly cat and a patient adopter.

More about this shelter
The Gananoque & District Humane Society (GDHS) is a volunteer run no kill animal shelter that takes in abandoned or surrendered animals, provides them with medical care and attempts to find them forever homes. Every animal that enters GDHS is quarantined, assessed and examined by a vet (if necessary), spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given vaccinations prior to being available for adoption. We do not receive guaranteed funding from any source and rely on the generosity of our community.
