Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to Minnow, a bright-eyed beauty with a heart as big as her zoomies! This energetic girl is looking for a forever home that can match her joyful spirit and give her all the love she craves.
Minnow is extremely playful and thrives on daily walks, outdoor adventures, and plenty of exercise. Whether it’s chasing a ball, exploring new trails, or just romping around the yard, she’s happiest when she’s on the move and by your side. She’s also incredibly smart and eager to please! Minnow is potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, and already knows a few basic commands.
But don’t let her energy fool you—Minnow is also a total sweetheart. She’s kind, gentle, and affectionate, and once she bonds with you, she’ll be your loyal shadow. She loves belly rubs, cuddle time, and simply being close to her people.
Minnow would do best in an active home where she can get plenty of attention, structure, and love. If you’re looking for a best friend who will keep you moving and fill your life with joy, Minnow is your girl.

Our mission is to provide the programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals due to lack of space, adopter or foster.
San Antonio Pets Alive! is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Due to alarming euthanasia rates, San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA!) was founded in 2012. SAPA! is unique—it is the only high paced, high-volume rescue in San Antonio, saving 6,000 at-risk cats and dogs annually.
Since its inception, SAPA! has saved more than 47,000 dogs and cats. SAPA! provides safety nets for the dogs and cats that fall through the cracks of all other lifesaving options and end up on the euthanasia lists, often with just hours to be saved. SAPA! promotes the availability of these dogs and cats to other rescues, adopters and fosters.

If you are interested in fostering an animal, please visit our website and fill out our online Foster Application. The more foster homes we have the more animals we can pull off the euthanasia list and the more lives we can save together!
