My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

About Martini
Martini is an adorable 1-year-old Chihuahua who weighs just 5 pounds. Despite her small size, her heart is full of love and affection for the right person or couple.
Personality
Martini is a gentle soul who can be a bit timid, especially around loud noises or sudden movements. Therefore, she would thrive best in a calm and quiet adult-only household. She is not suitable for families with young children, as she tends to get scared easily.
Training
This little gal is both crate and leash trained, making her a well-behaved companion. She enjoys her walks but is equally content relaxing by your side at home.
Background
Sadly, Martini's previous owner has passed away, leaving her in need of a new loving home. She is ready to bring joy and companionship to someone who understands her needs.
Ideal Home
Martini is looking for a peaceful environment where she can feel safe and loved. She would do well with adults who have experience with small dogs or are willing to learn how to care for a Chihuahua.
Adoption Details
If you're interested in providing Martini with a loving forever home, please reach out to Barking Mad Animal Rescue by filling out the application or emailing barkingmadanimalrescue@gmail.com . They are looking for someone who can offer her the stable and affectionate environment she deserves.
By opening your heart and home to Martini, you'll be gaining a loyal friend who will bring warmth and happiness to your life.

More about this rescue

BMAR is a No-Kill facility: a place of safety for healthy adoptable animals, a home for the homeless, a haven for the mistreated, neglected, or abused animals of Sabine & surrounding counties. BMAR also runs a sanctuary for those deemed unadoptible due to medical and behavior issues.

100% Volunteer Rescue. We have no animal control, Humane Society, or SPCA operating in our area leaving animals in dire straights.

BMAR is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty & abuse to all animals & livestock.

We currently only adopt to states and Canada where we have a network in place to monitor animals and help with problems.

BMAR backs it's dogs for life and will take back no matter how long and at any time if circumstance arise and you cannot keep your pet.
