Meet Choco, a 9-month old boy who is mixed with Chow and Retriever. He came from a family home but they felt they did not have time for a dog right now, so wanted us to help find him another family for his next chapter. He has lived with kids aged 4 and older and is friendly with people. He seems to be a smart dog who will likely train quickly. Sadly, Choco was never allowed indoors, but he would love to be able to come inside with his people. He will need to learn his house manners, but he is still a young dog. He currently weighs 51 pounds and probably won't get too much taller, but may fill out more. Prior owner says he is friendly with other dogs, likes the water and knows a few commands: sit, give paw and speak. Choco is an active dog who will thrive in a home where people have time to give him walks and playtime. All potential adopters must complete an adoption application found at our website, www.petsnpals.org. Our fees are based on the cost of spaying or neutering. The price ranges from approximately $100 to $350 per dog and $125 per cat/kitten.

Pets & Pals has been serving the community for over 20 years. We are a no-kill shelter. Our facility is extremely clean and well managed. The dogs are allowed to get out of their cages daily on a rotating basis to play in our outdoor areas complete with swimming pools!
