My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cade von Catsby is a 10-month-old charmer with a story as striking as his style. Once a scrappy street kitten, Cade was trapped and brought to safety at just 3 months old. Since then, he’s been learning that the world can be kind—and that people can be trusted.
Cade is what we like to call a “lover in disguise.” At first, he plays it cool, but once you’ve earned his trust, he’ll happily soak up pets and even allow you to scoop him up for snuggles. His sweet side shines brightest when he feels safe, and the bond you’ll build with him will be all the more rewarding for it.
He’s especially fond of feline friends! Cade adores other cats and would thrive in a home with a confident kitty role model to help show him the ropes.
And let’s not forget his sense of style. With his crisp black-and-white coat and those unforgettable head markings, he’s affectionately nicknamed “Side Bangs”—because from certain angles, it looks like he’s sporting chic bangs or even a classy fedora. He’s truly one of a kind.
If you’re looking for a sleek, stylish young cat who comes with a little mystery, a lot of heart, and the potential for a lifelong bond, Cade von Catsby may just be your guy. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home!

Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/).

Select cats can be fostered instead! Apply on our website.

A cat's behavior in the shelter may not be what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat. Most often, in a home, they thrive!

Kitten Policy: Kittens must be able to socialize with other young cats or dogs as playmates, as it is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.

Due to demand, we do not place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet all cats or kittens available for adoption at the time of visit.

If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals with a 'No-Kill' policy. Our efforts are focused primarily on finding loving homes for the many cats that are strays, abused, abandoned, surrendered or impounded. All animals are given medical attention, spay/neutered, tested for FeLV and FIV, and vaccinated before placement. We are a small shelter comprised of 100% volunteers dedicated to helping homeless cats find their forever families.
