My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you been looking to add more humor in your life? Looking for a kooky, clumsy, goof ball that will do a headstand and summersault into your lap to get your attention? Obie has all of those qualities! This young chap is 3 yr old and is one of those little brother types that just wants to play and go on adventures. He's definitely a little on the wild side, but also can settle and hang out.

He's currently bonded with him mom and the two of them would love to find a home together! But we are willing to consider individual homes for the perfect situations.

If you have been looking for another dog (or two) to join your family and have a dog looking for a fun little brother, please fill out an adoption questionnaire.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We strive to place all of our rescued dogs in forever homes.

Our adoption process includes an questionnaire to learn more about what you are looking for, a meet and greet with the dog and your pets, a home visit, and an adoption contract.

Our adoption fee is $250 for adults and $350 for puppies. To encourage families to consider bringing in senior dogs to their home, we usually waive or greatly reduce the adoption fee.

More about this rescue

Shadow's Fund was created to provide rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing for seniors and other special needs dogs that often get passed over by the public in shelters. Our goal is to provide those without hope the chance to experience love and joy again.
