My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roscoe is the SWEETEST and most gentle dog - pure perfection! He is laid back, loves walks and enjoys being around everyone. He may not be able to hear (unless you yell) but he knows how to sit, shake and lay down with just the motion of your hands! If you are looking for a velcro dog to love and cuddle with, he's your guy!

Weight: 20 pounds
Neutered: Yes
Potty Trained: Yes, up to 4 hours during the day and he's just fine overnight
Crate Trained: No
Dog Friendly: Great, he is playful with other dogs
Cat Friendly: Great, he just ignores them
Kid Friendly: Very!
Stairs: Shouldn't have too many with a weak back end.
Barker: He will let you know if someone pulls up to the house. Some separation anxiety with whoever he bonds to when he is left at home
Health Concerns: He is hard of hearing and getting weak in the rear end.
Medications: No medication, just started cosequin to help with his joints/rear end
Reason for surrender: Family is traveling
Adoption Fee: $425

As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.)

Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine.

$50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.

Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation.

Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days.

Thank you again for your interest in a Grey Face senior. We appreciate your support!
