Meet Penny.
She is a 9 year old red piebald pure-bred dachshund.
Penny enjoys snuggles with her family, warm sunspots and walks.
She is a very sweet and kind natured dog, looking for a home that can provide her with the love and attention she deserves.
We have absolutely loved our years with Penny, but unfortunately she has not been a good fit with our growing family. Penny prefers a quiet home and unfortunately her toddler roommates make Penny nervous and cause her to hide. Penny would make an excellent dog for older children, as she enjoys attention that is safe and predictable.
Penny would make an excellent companion dog. She gets along well with other dogs and older children. She would be a great choice for a family of retirees or a family with older children. She has long hair, however doesn't require any regular grooming (other than bath/brushing). She also is low energy, so doesn't require regular walks. She is all up-to-date with regular vet check ups.
