Beans is a sweet, friendly, petite foxhound. He loves the outdoors whether it be playing with another dog, romping around the yard or basking in the sun. He loves toys and is able to self-entertain with squeaky toys, balls, and sticks. Beans is an active young hound so needs opportunities to get plenty of exercise. When he gets the exercise he needs, his chill personality comes out and he’s happy napping or entertaining himself with a chew toy.

Beans is generally quiet, barking only if there’s something to bark at, but is not an excessive barker. He is gentle and enjoys receiving affection. He is house trained when kept on a schedule and monitored. Although he is crate trained, he would prefer to be out of the crate. He doesn’t get into trouble, so he is not being crated in his foster home. Beans does not require a fenced yard although he does love to run. However, fencing should be at least 5 feet tall as he can jump a shorter fence. Another playful dog would be a bonus for him. He does a good job adjusting his play but really loves when another dog is willing to engage.
