Prince is a 1-year-old Rottweiler/Shepherd mix with a heart full of potential and energy! He was adopted out a few months ago but was recently returned because his previous adopter felt he was spending too much time in a kennel and became increasingly mouthy. We believe this behavior is a result of pent-up energy and lack of formal training, as Prince is still very much a young puppy at heart.

Prince is an active, playful dog who thrives on exercise, mental stimulation, and attention. He’s eager to learn and would greatly benefit from a structured routine and training to help him develop into the well-behaved companion he’s meant to be. His “mouthiness” is simply a sign of his youthful energy and desire to interact—once he gets the physical and mental outlet he needs, we believe that will help remedy that.

Prince is still in the process of learning manners, and with a little patience and consistent training, he’ll make an amazing, loyal companion. He loves being around people and would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of playtime and structure. He’d also do well with an active family who enjoys outdoor activities and can help him channel his energy into positive behaviors.

Prince is up to date on his vaccinations and ready to find a family that’s ready to put in the time and effort to give him the training and attention he deserves.
