Charlie is an old American Shorthair with brown eyes. He grew up surrounded by cats and is very friendly with other animals, particularly other cats. He is sleepy most of the day but he comes alive in the afternoons and evenings! His hobbies include chowing down wet food and gazing longingly out windows at passers by. His favorite toys are his beloved pom poms and cat-nip filled mice toys. He's very sweet and curious, but likes his personal space and can be shy at first. Charlie would do best in a quiet home with patient, gentle cat parents. He is very friendly with other cats and can come out of his shell much faster when he plays with his feline friends. Charlie is easily lovable and is looking for his safe, comfortable forever home!

Please consider saving the life of an animal in need and become a volunteer foster home today. To become a foster, fill out a dog or cat foster application on the Twin Cities Pet Rescue website: www.twincitiespetrescue.org . There is little to no cost to foster an animal. Twin Cities Pet Rescue provides its foster families with food, supplies, and veterinary care for its animals. All you need to do is supply the love!
PLEASE NOTE: Twin Cities Pet Rescue will consider adoption applicants from many parts of the country. However, preference will always be given to applicants within 100 miles of the TCPR office in Maplewood, MN.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
