Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB August 5, 2024
This sweet girl has come a long way during her two months in foster care. When she first arrived, Pawla was shy and preferred hiding in a closet, keeping her distance from humans. But with patience, treats, and plenty of playtime, she slowly started to come out of her shell—strutting her stuff with her tail held high.
Then one day, after weeks of quiet observation, she surprised her foster by flopping at their feet and melting into head-to-tail pets, purring like a pro. These days, she’s a master of the swoosh—gliding over your feet, headbutting your shins, and singing her purr-filled tunes. Yes, Pawla dances too.
While she’s not quite a lap cat yet, she’s getting there. Treats go a long way in building trust with her. At 8 months old, she’s still got that playful kitten energy—especially late at night, when she’ll entertain herself with a good bathtub bounce session. She also loves to watch TV up close and has a suspiciously keen interest in any bread left unattended. Consider yourself warned!
Pawla was fostered with her bestie, Furgie (a 1-year-old also looking for her forever home). Both girls were undersocialized at first, but they’ve blossomed into fun-loving, affectionate young cats. They love to cuddle & play together. They’d love to be adopted together, or each would do well in a home with another playful, friendly cat around their age.
Pawla would likely do well with respectful kids who can give her time and space to warm up. She tends to hide when strangers visit, but once she feels safe, her personality shines.
Pawla eats Wellness brand canned food and any dry food, any treats except Churus. Loves catnip. Wand toys and plastic springs are her favorite.
