My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coraline! 🐾💛
Coraline is a strong, active, and affectionate young lady, almost 2 years old, weighing in at 63 lbs and ready to work on her fitness journey with her forever family. Despite her size, she’s a total sweetheart who loves people, playtime, and staying engaged with her humans.

This energetic girl thrives with activities, walks, and mental enrichment, and she’s looking for a patient, loving home that can help her reach a healthy weight while giving her plenty of love and attention. Coraline is strong and spirited, but her heart is gentle, and she bonds deeply with those who care for her.

Coraline is ready to find a forever family who will embrace her playful, loving personality, support her health goals, and adore her for the wonderful companion she truly is. 🐾

More about this shelter

The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.

As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
