He loves being outside — whether it’s going for walks, exploring the yard, or just soaking up the sunshine. Ares is full of playful energy and thrives on activity, so he’d be a great match for an active person or family who enjoys being on the go.
When he’s not busy playing or exploring, Ares is all about the pets and attention. He adores spending time with people and never turns down some love and affection.
Ares is an All-Star dog! His adoption comes with some extra benefits at time of adoption. Their adoption appointment includes a discussion with our Training Team, and they will go home with their very own no-pull-harness and a few enrichment goodies to help get them off to a good start! Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.

Current programming such as our Adoption Program, Military Veterans’ Program, and Healing Paws Pet Therapy Program create positive, impactful connections between people and animals, improving the lives of both.
