Charlie Chaplin is a loving lap-cat kind of kitty! Here's what his foster mom has to say about this amazing boy. "Six years ago, this sweet boy who I named Charlie Chaplin (since he always has his tux on) showed up at school. I had him neutered and vaccinated but didn’t have the capacity to take him in at the time. But, with our new school being built it just isn’t safe for CC to live there anymore. So, I decided to see if he would adjust to being a house cat and he loves it!!! He’s a master biscuit maker and a lap with a blanket is his favorite place to be!
He did test positive for FIV but that won’t stop him from living a full, happy life!! He has an appointment for some dental work but then will be ready for adoption!
FIV does not transfer to humans or dogs and would only transfer to another cat through fighting. I feel confident he would adjust fine to other animals, but it would require a slow introduction."
Apply to adopt at savinggraces4felines.org. The adoption fee is $95 in cash, and a good vet reference is required. Saving Graces 4 Felines adoptable cats are spayed or neutered, before adoption is finalized. They have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV, are up to date on vaccines, and have been treated for worms and fleas. They have also been micro-chipped.

More about this rescue
We began as a TNR group in late 2001, but became a non-profit rescue group on January 14, 2002, with a 501 (c)(3) status. We rescue abandoned, stray, homeless cats throughout Pitt County, as well as many from Animal Control. We also do TNR for many cat colonies in and around Greenville, and provide for their daily feeding. We were instrumental in starting Pitt County's first low-cost spay/neuter clinic--Spay Today. We are an all volunteer organization, and all we do is simply for the love of cats.
