My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mellow is looking for his furever home. His situation was reported to us by a nice lady, who identified a small black bunny wandering in her neighborhood without an apparent owner. I cannot deny that I was prepared for a potentially challenging rescue operation but I was able to capture him by hand without any struggle. Upon further assessment, it became clear why. 😭
A comprehensive examination at our rescue facility revealed that Mellow had been attacked by a predator, resulting in severe injuries, including the loss of one testicle. It was likely that his weakened state made him easier to capture. Can you imagine the pain this poor boy endured? 💔😥
We immediately gave him pain medication, antibiotics and set up an appointment.
Despite his horrible experience he is such a sweet boy.
We estimate that Mellow is approximately 5-6 months old, suggesting that he may have been a Christmas gift abandoned when interest waned or his previous owner realized the challenges of caring for a rabbit. Unfortunately, this scenario is all too common.
Mellow would love to find a loving home and a cute bunwife to play with.
Do you have a sweet girl looking for a cute and sweet boy? Well, let’s set up a bunny date. 🥰🥰
Mellow, who is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated is located in West Palm Beach, FL.
Would you open your heart to this sweet boy?
We can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees are $100 for a single rabbit and $160 for a bonded pair which includes an examed, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped bunny. A spayed or neutered rabbit makes a much better pet. If you are ready to make a ten year commitment and welcome a bunny into your family, we welcome you to fill out the adoption application. We will contact you to tell you more about our rabbits, conduct a phone interview, meet the rabbits, and set up a home visit. If everything approved you can take the bunny home.
