Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Don’t be fooled by Melbourne’s sophisticated name and debonair good looks—this handsome feline is really just a big baby disguised as a suave gentleman and wants nothing more than to be loved by you.
Melbourne came to us as a surrender when his owner had to leave the country.
At 1 1/2 years old, this sweet boy still has some kitten-y playfulness in him— Melbourne absolutely loves chasing after bouncing balls and jump-swatting at the Cat Dancer and other wand-type toys.
Melbourne is a bit of a Velcro cat who wants to know where everyone is and will follow you around like a gorgeous shadow.
He head butts you for attention and would rather join you in the bathroom than be on the other side of the door.
Melbourne has the typical Siamese chattiness gene, and is not afraid to share his opinions.
If you are looking for a cat to have long conversations with, Melbourne’s your man!
Melbourne runs to greet visitors at the door and is happy to let new people pet and pick him up.
He has no problem with being put on a lap and will settle in, but also seems pretty interested in exploring his new environment so he usually doesn’t stay long.
Melbourne shows his appreciation for your attention by giving kisses with his super-soft tongue and enjoys being brushed.
Melbourne came from a home with other cats, and it’s clear that he would thrive with a feline friend.
He has shown an interest in becoming chummy with the resident cats in his foster home.
He’s been around children, but we think his best fit would be in a home with adults or older kids who know how to be respectful of boundaries—Melbourne can get a little over stimulated after a certain amount of petting.
We think Melbourne would benefit from having a kitty companion.
