JayJay is a sweet and handsome 6-month-old black and white domestic shorthair mix with a gentle soul. Although he can be shy around new people due to limited exposure, he’s a loving and loyal companion waiting to come out of his shell. JayJay will thrive in a home where he can feel safe and receive the patience and understanding he needs to build confidence. With time, he’ll show you just how affectionate he can be. He gets along well with other cats, enjoying playful moments with them, and his favorite toys are fish toys and springs, which he loves to chase. JayJay is typically calm, often found relaxing in quiet, high spots, watching the world through a window or taking peaceful naps. While he’s not a fan of being held, he’ll come to you when he's ready for some attention and affection. He’s fully litter box trained with no issues. If you have the time and heart to help JayJay blossom, he’ll make a wonderful, loving companion. For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to our shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30-6 Tuesday-Friday and 10:30-4 on Saturday (closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month)
