My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ABOUT LORI
This sweet and spunky girl is Lori, a 3-year-old terrier mix. She came to HAP from a high-intake shelter that no longer had space for her. Since arriving, everyone has fallen in love with her, she’s the sweetest little dog who lovingly demands attention with gentle head bumps or a playful little jump, usually paired with her signature big smile, satellite-dish ears, and floppy tongue! Lori is what we like to call a playgroup superstar, she’s gotten along wonderfully with a wide variety of dogs and has done great in all her interactions. She also loves playing with her toys and often has adorable puppy-like moments, flipping toys into the air and racing around to chase them. It's incredibly cute to watch! Lori would make a fantastic addition to a home with other resident dogs, but she’d also thrive as a solo pup, soaking up all the love and affection she craves. Stop by today and see if you need a little Lori in your life!

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
