HI - I'M JOHNNY, a 10-year-old pit/lab mix waiting for a foster or forever home. I'm a sweet boy with speckled ears! My ideal adopter is a single person who wants a companion, a pal for hanging out, walks, hikes, watching TV, car rides, napping. I love to play fetch, and I listen to basic commands. I tend to bond to one person who will be my soulmate, so couples may not be the best for me because I don't want to share the person I bond with and love. I love scratches and affection! I get bored if left alone too long, so best not to leave me out in the backyard for hours. I'm still quite agile and have been known to jump over a fence in my younger days. I'm not all that trustworthy around other dogs, especially male dogs, so it's best if I'm the only dog in the home. I'm still in good health and I'm basically looking for my forever companion to go for walks or hikes or simply watch TV. I weigh about 70 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? We welcome adopters from California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, and Idaho - and other states. The first step is to fill out our application, which we will email to you. From there, we will chat via phone and then facilitate meet and greets.

These dogs are being fostered in Idaho. We are a registered 501c3 animal rescue organization in the State of California. We adopt out dogs in Southern California and in the Pacific Northwest, and in some cases we work with rescue partners in specific locations, to help facilitate adoptions.
