Meet Bear – A Sweet Soul Ready for Her Forever Home

When Bear was rescued in late October 2024 with her kittens in St. Marys, she was a devoted and loving mother, putting their needs above all else. Though she was nervous around humans, time, patience, and love have helped her blossom into a cat who is ready to trust, bond, and find her own happy ending.

Bear is a quiet and gentle girl with the softest heart. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, she will lift her bum high for scritches and happily soak in your presence. She isn't one for being picked up, but she will show you in her own way just how much she appreciates you. She loves freeze-dried treats, enjoys talking to her favorite humans, and truly thrives in the company of other cats.

Bear would do best in a calm home with patient adopters who will continue to nurture her trust. She has been fostered with dogs but would prefer a home without them. What she longs for most is a safe, loving space where she can be someone's loyal, gentle companion.
