This sweet girl is all ears and looking for her furever home! Biscuit came to AFRP after Hitchcock Road Animal Services reached out for help with an underaged pup who was brought in to their care.
Biscuit is as sweet as she is spunky but she’s not your typical pup. This quirky girl is shy with new people and situations, and she’s looking for an experienced owner who can continue her training and help her build confidence over time. Biscuit isn’t suited for first-time dog owners, as she’s still working through some big feelings that will need to be addressed.
That said, once Biscuit feels safe, her fun and goofy side comes to life. She’s full of personality, adores her foster family, and has a special bond with her kitty siblings. She’s also a major foodie, which makes training both productive and rewarding.
Biscuit is currently in a foster home with cats and has done great with them, even making best friends with her foster siblings! She'll require continued guidance for learning boundaries with new kitties in the home. Biscuit has done well with dogs as well, but can be nervous and have stranger-danger with dogs she is not familiar with. She will need slow, proper introductions to any new dog in the home. Her ideal home would be with adult adopters, or with families with dog-savvy children over the age of 12 at this time.
** This pet is a Foster-to-Adopt candidate!
That means you can foster them for a short trial period to make sure they’re the perfect match for your home before finalizing the adoption. If you’re interested, please complete both a foster application and an adoption application so we can get the process started. **
Biscuit is currently in a foster home. A meet and greet can be scheduled once an application has been submitted and approved online. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org to apply today.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.
All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
