Are you ready for big love, big laughs, and even bigger cuddles? Meet Fergus, a 6-year-old Boxer/Hound mix with a heart as big as his paws! This handsome guy is on the lookout for his forever home, and trust us-he's got enough love to fill an entire house! Fergus is the ultimate goofball who will keep you smiling with his silly antics and playful personality. His favorite pastimes include chewing on his favorite toys, soaking up belly rubs, and showing off his "zoomies" (when he's in the mood). He's also working on getting his summer bod in shape, so a family that will help him stay active and shed a few pounds would be amazing! Since Fergus loves to be the center of attention, he needs to be the only pet in the home-but don't worry, he's got more than enough love to make up for it! He'd do well in a home with older kids who can appreciate his playful, bouncy personality.

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not for profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
Please visit our website AHSCares.org for additional information.
